Introducing the Leadership Spotlight Series! Service-based organizations face a unique challenge. Their most valuable intellectual property lies in the expertise of their subject matter experts (SMEs). To grow and succeed, these firms need to showcase that knowledge to clients and prospects just like the media. But here’s the catch: how do you leverage their expertise for marketing without pulling them away from their core work? The answer lies in efficiency: minimize time, maximize impact. In our last newsletter, I discussed how podcasts can serve as powerful content hubs, generating weeks and even months of materials - video clips, blog posts, infographics and more. Now, we've transformed this concept into a proven process with PathLynks’ new offering: The Leadership Spotlight Series. Drawing from our experience with the Tech Legacies podcast and livestream shows over the last 4 years, this program allows us to partner with professional services firms to create video podcasts featuring your SMEs, executives, sales leaders and even clients and prospects to build a roadmap for continuous, engaging content. Here’s how it works:
The Leadership Spotlight Series amplifies your experts' voices and shares their insights through captivating video interviews, turning their expertise into an ongoing narrative that engages your audience. As I’m zooming between terminals or trying to grab a coffee before my flight, I don’t think much about all the technology it takes to run the third busiest airport in the U.S. - one that served over 80 million passengers in 2023. Chatting with Mike Youngs, VP of IT at DFW Airport in Dallas-Fort Worth, changed all that. The incredible ecosystem that Mike oversees requires strong oversight and leadership. Here are some highlights from our interview:

Here’s a perfect complement to that announcement - a short video I did about repurposing content. It gives some practical tips on taking a larger piece of content and turning into numerous forms of snackable content. As we all know, people love snacks! A little inspiration:Prada on the Moon I came across an interesting marriage of fashion and space recently. In a British Vogue article, they talked about a partnership between Italian luxury fashion house, Prada and Axiom Space, the leading provider of human spaceflight services including spacesuits. This union resulted in a slick cool spacesuit that will be worn by the first woman and the first person of colour ever to land on the moon in 2026. Why 7-11-4 might be the most important rule you’re overlooking . . . It’s hard to put a number on trust, but here’s the formula that might do it: 7-11-4. I’m currently reading "Oversubscribed: How to Get People Lining Up to Do Business with You" by Daniel Priestley and he has a great perspective on the 7-11-4 rule, originally created by Google. In a nutshell, the 7-11-4 theory explains the level of familiarity needed for someone to feel comfortable buying from you (whether you sell a product...
If a picture is worth a thousand words, what is a video worth? I believe in the power of video. When my family left China and moved to Canada, I didn’t know any English. But I began picking up the language from cartoons and conversations. Learning how to write English came after several years of English-as-a-Second-Language (ESL) classes. This is natural. After all, humans are wired for spoken language first. Babies and kids learn to listen and speak before they read or write—a pattern that...
The most important brand in the world… you. Can you guess how many brand messages you see each day? Here’s a hint - it’s a LOT. Researchers estimate that each of us is exposed to 6,000 - 10,000 ads daily. Between social media, search and display ads, emails, and even good old-fashioned billboards and bus stop benches, brands are everywhere. The same holds true for you. While personal branding seems like something we’ve been saying forever, the term itself only goes back to 1997, when Tom...
